Their 20-year success story makes the six Folk Rockers from VERSENGOLD a permanent fixture in German-speaking music - and yet the Bremen band radiates a freshness and dynamism that, even after two decades, continues to trigger storms of enthusiasm in front of a wide-ranging audience. Time and time again, the exceptional musicians manage to do the impossible: without an electric guitar on the big stages of Wacken, Summer Breeze and Co., with Rock music in the “Fernsehgarten”, with their idiosyncratic style repeatedly in the top 5, most recently reaching number one in Germany Album charts.
With VERSENGOLD, the balancing act between styles has become an art form, which the band performs with striking ease and with great authenticity and credibility. The six Northern Lights will prove this again in spring 2024. The band will present their program for the successful album ‘Lautes Gedenken’ throughout the German-speaking region and on 21 dates in large halls and arenas, but also in some selected smaller clubs - without leaving out the big hits and classics. Above all, the sextet can rely on the exceptionally close bond with its fans: from 6 to 80, from Metal fans to Folk lovers, right up to “Fernsehgarten” regulars, they celebrate peacefully and exuberantly and sing along loudly, with exceptional lyrical confidence.
