Album Review

A few weeks ago I was pleasured with reviewing the release of the ‘Eiszeit’ MCD already and now I’m honoured to go on with the complete new upcoming album. Before I listened to it I wasn’t really sure what was to except - Rock, Electro or Industrial? This full-length album ‘Eiszeit’ could be seen as a melting pot of all these genres and goes on from that point where the MCD leaves. Guitar sounds, industrial beats and Synth loops - nice mixture which is also inviting you to move you body. Oppositional and contrary styles create a diversified album.

The lyrics are partially pretty pale so there is no need to write about. But at least “Checker Alexx” has cultivated his voice. By comparing to the previous releases, you’ll notice that the vocal tone is upgraded. I just think about the recent / actual upcoming popular success of UNHEILIG. For EISBRECHER it should be a pleasure because I’m expecting that they should be able to go the same way. There’s no doubt that these two artists are definitely comparable in certain aspects. The single ‘Eiszeit’ is listed in “The Single Media Control Charts “on position 84, the first time ever that a single of EISBRECHER made this. Congratulations! The listeners obviously like EISBRECHER’s new electronic-touched style.
