Shirley Manson comments on the expanded re-release of ‘Bleed Like Me’ as follows: “This album was difficult to realize and led to the band taking a five-year hiatus shortly after its release. However, over the years, it has become a solid part of our discography, so due to the many requests from our fans, we have decided to finally release it on vinyl.” As a rarity, the 4:41 minute track ‘Betcha’ can be found on the CD, 2LP, and digital editions, which was originally a B-side of the standalone single ‘Tell Me Where it Hurts’, but was recorded during the ‘Bleed Like Me’ sessions.

‘Bleed Like Me’ was a top-5 album hit in the UK, the USA, and Australia upon its initial release in April 2005, and it also reached top positions in Europe. Four singles were released from the album: ‘Why Do You Love Me’, which became a top-10 single in the UK, ‘Bleed Like Me,’ and ‘Sex Is Not The Enemy,’ both of which became staples of the band’s live shows, and ‘Run Baby Run,’ accompanied by a music video directed by Sophie Muller.

GARBAGE will play a series of festival shows this year, including European and British dates at Mad Cool in Madrid (July 10-13) and TRNSMT in Glasgow (July 12-14).
