Album Review

DECODED FEEDBACK is a Canadian musical project which incorporates styles of electro-industrial and aggrotech. After a personal hiatus and a European label change, the band is back in the studio working harder than ever on their new CD ‘Aftermath’ to be released on Metropolis Records and Dependent Records in May 2010. Fans of the band had to wait five long years until a new life sign of the Canadians. The album consists of ten songs, characterized by pushing harmonic synthesizer sounds, completed with pleasing vocals. Recommended!

The songs are well-danceable and melodically oriented. Not only the album is marked by the typical pushing industrial and electro sounds with its distinctive bass lines and Synth melodies but also you find reminiscences of good old 80s electro wave. As it is somehow typical for Canadian electro projects, also ‘Aftermath’ is rich in variations and innovations. The album sounds grown up in its richness of emotions. The digital deluxe edition (mp3 download) includes three additional tracks inclusive a cover version of ‘Godshit’ (Psychopomps).
