The German Alternative Charts and imuse.TV surprise the fans of the independent music scene with a unique service: In an own TV program, music videos out of the German Alternative single and album charts will be presented, chosen by the voting of a few hundred DJs from hot clubs.As a preparation for the collaboration, the weekly released charts have been linked with the music videos of the top bands at the single and album charts by imuse.TV. This service exists since the beginning of March 2008 and is already extensively used by many users. Due to its usability and its clarity, putting an end to the exhaustive search on MySpace and Youtube for information about the artists and their videos, the new service of imuse.TV and DAC enjoys a growing popularity. The independent music scene and their top 20 will get an extraordinary, special platform this way and the fans a concrete access.
This specialty has been developed to a constant Web TV program by imuse.TV. As of now, the MySpace and Youtube videos of the artists in the DAC will be presented as a so called stream, whose course the user can manipulate and shape at every time: As he’s used to by the usual player system, the user has the opportunity to cut into the Web TV channel and to repeat or skip specific titles through the play list. Additionally he gets the most important info about the band as well as all important links to their MySpace and imuse.TV profiles without being forced to choose between MySpace and Youtube.
