It is 16 years ago that Torben Wendt decided to form the band DIORAMA. The left his musical history of Punk and Trance behind and turned to a mixture of Electro, Wave and EBM. Already the debut album ‘Pale’, produced by no one less than Adrian Hates, front man of DIARY OF DREAMS, was critically acclaimed by national and international music scene.
Several successful years with new albums and concerts followed including appearances on the big scene festivals like M’era Luna or Amphi. Now, the band presents its 8th studio album with ‘even the devil doesn’t care‘, released on 25th January 2013. Just like its predecessor, it sounds melancholic and dreamy, but also pulsating and danceable. With this release, the band from Reutlingen confirm their standing in the Electro-Darkwave scene. Who ever had the pleasure to experience DIORAMA live will remember the extraordinary stage performance, sparkling with emotions, for a long time. On Sunday, 3rd March 2013, the band will present the new album and lots of old gems in the Sputnikhalle Münster, supported by label mates SLAVE REPUBLIC who will also release a new album in February.
