When the time has come to do the last preparations for Christmas, and the anticipation starts getting to unbearable due to the gifts that might be placed under the tree, the time has come for the yearly Belgian Independent Music Fest in Belgium. The 12th edition of the festival, as happened in all those before, assembles an outstanding line-up to bring up anticipation to the melting point.
As every year, the promoters managed to present a diversified line-up with quite a view surprises. As one of them you have the headliner on Saturday, THE YOUNG GODS. For their exclusive show at BIMFEST 2013, Franz Treichler, Cesare Pizzi and Bernard Trontin have prepared a repertoire based on the first two albums ‘The Young Gods’ (1987) and ‘L'eau rouge’ (1989). Cesare Pizzi is an original member of the band THE YOUNG GODS first period and his playing on both albums. Headliner on Friday will be ARBEID ADELT!, (literally 'Labour Ennobles'), that was formed in 1981 by the duo Marcel Vanthilt (Max Alexander) and Jan Van Roelen (David Salamon).The band sounds like a musical experiment in a madhouse and quickly became one of Belgium's cult bands. Those mentioned three bands are just a short glimpse into the fantastic line-up of BIMFEST 2013. But there is a lot more to discover! Here’s the full line-up:

Both nights will be rounded up by an after party featuring various VIP DJs to be confirmed later.

Attention! The festival is moving to Trix CLUB, the smaller but more cosy venue of the Trix music complex. This means there will be ONLY 450 tickets a day available!!!
