Formed in Bergen, in the summer of 2006, THE BATALLION’s hugely experienced musicians hail from some of the most legendary bands in Norway; bands like OLD FUNERAL, GRIMFIST, TAAKE, BORKNAGAR, ST. SATAN, DEATHCON and BOMBERS. The members’ shared love of traditional metal drew them together to form a band that epitomises the spirit and feel of the genre; from the choice of stage names - with Stud Bronson on Guitar and vocals, Lust Kilman on Guitar, Colt Kane on Bass and Morden on Drums, to the authentic sound of their music and their head banging live performances.

THE BATALLION will appear at this year’s Southern Discomfort Festival in Kristiansand on the 18th September and will have a Release Party for “Head Up High” at Inside Rock Cafe’, Bergen, on the 15th October.
