Bergen-based THE BATALLION, is a band that describes itself as playing “bad ass 80’s death thrash metal” and has line-up that includes members from some of Norway’s legendary band such as like OLD FUNERAL, GRIMFIST, TAAKE, BORKNAGAR, ST. SATAN, DEATHCON and BOMBERS. Sharing a love of traditional metal, THE BATALLION’s members got together to form a band that would epitomise the spirit and testosterone fuelled energy of the genre, going so far as to choose stage names that epitomise those glory days - Stud Bronson on Guitar and Vocals, Lust Kilman on Guitar, Colt Kane on Bass and Morden on Drums.

The launch party for “Head Up High” will be held at Hinsides (Inside Rock Cafe’) in Bergen on the 15th October.  More information about the BATALLION at http://www.myspace.com/thebatallion666
