Album Review

THE CASUALTIES have always been one of those acts that most people get into after the traditional musical influences of acts that come strolling by (The Ramones, Sex Pistols, and Dead Kenndys). With that being said and six releases later, ‘We All We Have’ is the 7th LP by these punk goers. It's hard to believe that these guys have been around for the past 17 years but believe it, it shows within their music. These guys have done everything learning many life lessons along the way - which people talk about from time to time. ‘We Are All We Have’ is most many of the previous releases from THE CASUALTIES keeping up that traditional song base routine fast energy with overlapping lyrical themes to balance it all out.

The energetic vibrations presented by the upbeat and catchy lyrics make you want to throw your fist in the air and sing along something you'd obviously expect and demand from THE CASUALTIES musical senses. But there is a slight change up from their previous works, with the Reggae / Dub song ‘Rockers Reggae’ a THE CASUALTIES twist is going the Reggae way being totally unexpected. This conclusion wraps up the whole album in the long run allowing only a handful of tunes standing above all the rest; ‘Carry on the Flag’, ‘Hearts Bleed Black’ and ‘Apocalypse Today’ are the main highlights that pin-point what THE CASUALTIES are trying to inform the listener. If you’re a THE CASUALTIES regular then you know what to expect if you’re a new comer and like the fast breaking punk rock adrenaline with a bit of spit and snot thrown at your face then you'll love this album from beginning to end.
