The STADTPARK OPEN AIR has been one of the absolute cultural highlights of the Hanseatic city since 1975! Once again, this year, visitors can look forward to an extremely varied program from May to September with 40 confirmed events to date.
The 2023 season is packed with many international names such as THE BLACK KEYS, AVA MAX, HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES, PAOLO NUTINI, INCUBUS, JACK JOHNSON, ONEREPUBLIC, SKA-P, XAVIER RUDD, JACOB COLLIER, BETH HART, BASTILLE, GLEN HANSARD, THE DIRE STRAITS EXPERIENCE, MIKE + THE MECHANICS, DEAN LEWIS, NILE RODGERS & CHIC, GORAN BREGOVIC & HIS WEDDING AND FUNERAL BAND and Rock classics DEEP PURPLE.
Local acts such as TOCOTRONIC, Carsten Meyer aka EROBIQUE with the new album ‘No.2’, three times JOHANNES OERDING, PHILIPP POISEL, REVOLVERHELD, SILBERMOND, ADEL TAWIL, IN EXTREMO, BEN ZUCKER, NENA and LOTTO KING KARL ensure special concert experiences. Humor is not neglected either, on two evenings each, “The Last Torero” HELGE SCHNEIDER and “our” DITTSCHE with his ’Heimspiel im Grünen’ start their attack on the laughing muscles. The popular spoken word shows ’Best of Poetry Slam’ and ‘Stand Up Open Air’ should also not be missing from the seasonal calendar, just like the beloved children’s music open air ‘Lütt im Park’ with the stars of the ‘Unter Meine Bett’ series.
In keeping with the diverse concert and event program in the Stadtpark, the Food Lane is again offering an exclusive line-up of food from changing providers this year. In addition, König Pilsener, with whom we sealed our 20-year sponsoring partnership at the Grünen Rund last year, will once again be providing the cold drinks.
