All Shall Perish, Suffokate, Abigail Williams, Underneath the Gun, Conducting From the Grave

ALL SHALL PERISH the known death metallers of the death metal world have entertained you and destroyed you from the life you once lived and knew and loved. Well as SUFFOKATE demonstrates to be another big known act destroying the masses by the second their name is mentioned in the crowd. Their music within itself can destroy everything in its path with just one gut growl.

UNDERNEATH THE GUN takes their place within the mix up of this metal sensation dishing out the hardcore dance rave that craves to stand above all the other acts present. ABIGAIL WILLIAMS is known as the black metal act that growls for everyone to know their arrival and existence, their music becoming tone deaf once it’s invaded your mind and soul. And CONDUCTING FROM THE GRAVE just blows everything else away with the crazy mosh pitting adrenaline action taking over from the very beginning.

ALL SHALL PERISH’s current headlining tour has broken apart across the U.S. tearing it apart in each venue they enter and leave every single night they’ve invaded a town near you and tonight’s event is no acceptation compared to their previous stops. This time it’s their second to the last night of this current tour before it is buried to rest in peace so why not resurrect some of the un-dead followers who we shall need to speak!

The cold crisp air of the Sunset Strip could only mean two things the weather has been detected or there's some metal nearby in this case of tonight's occurrence both of these options have combined into one the absolute truth! Taking place at the famous Whisky A Go-Go tonight would be the night of pure death metal mixed along with a variety of other music genres from hardcore to black metal everything is offered to you from tonight's performers.


Conducting From the Grave

A new band - now well known - formed in 2003. Several ex-members of some local Sacramento bands came together to form an act that would soon claim as their own from now until the end of their days. By mid 2004 a solid line-up had been established: John Abernathy on guitar, Gregory Donnelly (formerly of Promising Tomorrow) on drums, Jeffrey Morgan (formerly of With Passion) on guitar, Philip Williamson on bass, and Shaun Gier (guitarist of With Passion) on vocals. Thus bringing forth to you CONDUCTING FROM THE GRAVE unleashing two killer albums that have ripped and tore us apart since the very first listen.



Music & Performance
Opening the night comes CONDUCTING FROM THE GRAVE a death metal hardcore sensational act for fans of other metaling acts Unearth, Between the Buried and Me and The Black Dahlia Murder. Their set consisted of about 20 minutes throwing out a lot of their old material mixed in with their new material from their newest instalment ‘When Legends Become Dust’. Their set brought the crowd roaring with excitement and energy running through their veins popping every blood vessel on their body. The pit in the centre was even getting some attention having the hardcore dancers do their thing showing off their top notch dance moves to the beat of the music in the background as the rest of the audience head-banged right along.

Underneath the Gun

UNDERNEATH THE GUN well known for their hardcore similarities of other acts in the music industry to be categorized as dropping into the boundaries of Bring Me the Horizon, Underoath and August Burns Red. This act has already released two albums both of which pursue a raw aggressive tone and attitude towards their way with music getting the crowd caught up with their catchy uplifting and toning beats that keep an on-going sensation that just won’t stop giving out the goodness hidden within.



Music & Performance
Next up came forth UNDERNEATH THE GUN who brought out more of the hardcore dancers to the floor as the singer screamed and shouted his way into the crowd getting everyone who was standing around off the ground. Jumping all around the stage the entire band brought the heat and fun of their catchy uplifting music from the start to the very end of their quick and fast tighten set.

Suffokate

SUFFOKATE uses the tactics that will get the crowd highly entertained and get them begging for more and more and they do just this while out doing their thing during their set up. Having the thunder guitar riffs way their way and drumming beats blast away against the vocal chords. Releasing albums here and there these guys known how to interact and do it super well getting everyone in the room involved and happy in the end.

Music & Performance
SUFFOKATE was next up on the bill bringing out the intensity even stronger then the two previous acts keeping that heat up until it boiled over the crowd cooling everyone off from all the blood and sweat they had previously created. These monsters of metal can really bring out the juice and energy getting everyone entertained even if they weren't into the scene or music.

Abigail Williams

What can be said about ABIGAIL WILLIAMS? Well they’re a black metal act that has released a few albums and made their name known in the metal world and have been tearing it all up as being the second headliners for the current tour they’re apart of getting everyone in the crowd a taste of the music that has enraged our minds and souls completely from the inside out. Getting everyone running in a panic in the pit forming a circling action of dancing and pushing and shoving that you have no clue what’s going to happen next!



Music & Performance
ABIGAIL WILLIAMS was one of the second to the last headliners aside from the main course but these guys completely destroyed the venue to pieces getting everyone involved having the pit of dancers be pancakes smashed to the ground with its constant circle pit of destruction, these guys know how to express themselves in the way of music and when its exposed upon the masses they're showing off too do not get in their way or else get pushed down.

All Shall Perish

ALL SHALL PERISH shows you who’s the boss when it comes to witnessing these guys in performance mode getting the action and adrenaline moving at top notch speeds having unleashed already three albums in their presents getting their name tossed around like a hot potato, these guys know how to exposure themselves and get everybody off their feet not leaving anyone standing still.



Music & Performance
After getting tossed around in the circle pit junction ALL SHALL PERISH were amongst us with their presents of swears and mess ups in between going off into singing "Happy Birthday" to Ricky vocalist of SUFFOCATE then breaking into one of their older tunes which soon got cut off because of a brief technical difficulty but the crowd demanded the band do a re-take and so they did bringing the track even more aggressive than they first played. All in all, the ALL SHALL PERISH road up was an indeed success and brought terror and destruction to everyone who witnessed the pure chaos that unfold that one cold night at the Whisky.
