Hello !

Zeraphine Radio is moving! We're moving from our broadcaster OKB to the independent internet radio 'recordcaster.de'. The advantage is, that now everyone with internet access can listen to our radio show live, not only people from Berlin, hosted by a special cable provider. Don't worry if you miss a show, there will be several repeats. The recordcaster live stream can handle enough people at a time, so that the old OKB- problem should be history.
There are several reasons for our move. We were missing the character of a live radio show, because most of you could only download the show later. That was not 'real', somehow. It would have been the same if we recorded the show in our living room and then upload it to our website.

On the other hand we can't provide a download of the show in the future. The GEMA (comparable with BIEN in the UK) has tightened its requirements extremely concerning music on the web and the charges are very high (the fines are unbelievable). So our concept (live show on OKB + download) makes no sense anymore.

It was pure chance that we met the Recordcaster guys, a perfect team we will cooperate with in the future. And they integrated our show into their program. Recordcaster is not just an internet radio, it's also a webportal, where young bands can introduce themselves to a bigger audience. Well, it's also worth listening to recordcaster.de outside of our own show, because there you can hear good music of all kinds and maybe you can find good new bands.
There is another change. Our show will be broadcasted every 1st Friday of the month from 8 to 10 pm CET. Yes. the next change. 2 hours Zeraphine radio!!!
The premiere will be next week already, on Nov, 11th 2005, 8 pm.

We think this is the best solution for everyone.

Take care,
Zeraphine

P.S.: In case you have a very slow internet connection you should ask someone with DSL or ISDN to record it. There are many free tools on the web... there was already a thread on zeraphine.net about this.
