MSG MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP - Extensive World Tour to Start May 2006
New Album Tales Of Rock`n Roll – 25 Years Celebration Out On April 28, 2006

Guitarist Michael Schenker from Hanover, Germany, continues to count among the most important and most admired guitarists of the international rock scene. His extremely fluent style, his successful combination of fiery rock licks, awesome power riffs and classical quotations has made him an icon for a whole generation. Whether as a member with the Scorpions and the British rock act, UFO, a participant in the great, if short-lived Contraband, or as a solo artist with his own act, MSG: Schenker has been involved in countless classics in the history of rock music. He signed a contract with the North German record label, Armageddon Music, in winter 2005 and is scheduled to release his new album, Tales Of Rock`n Roll - 25 Years Celebration, on April 28, 2006.

The current MSG line-up, due to embark on their Tales Of Rock`n Roll World Tour 2006 on May 4 in Istanbul, consists, next to Schenker, of guitarist/keyboarder Wayne Findley, drummer Pete Holmes, bassist Rev Jones and Finnish vocalist Jari Tiura. The extensive tour will take the Michael Schenker Group to Germany, Britain, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Turkey, Belgium, Bulgaria and Switzerland, among others. Fans may look forward to an impressive best-of show featuring all the band`s classics, as well as numerous brand-new songs. As part of this year`s Frankfurt music fair, there will be a signing session including CD presentation at the Nachtleben in Frankfurt on April 2, 2006, where Michael and Rudolf Schenker will also introduce their new Schenker Brothers Dean guitar. The following day, WDR radio will record the MSG show at the Underground in Cologne for their Rockpalast series. A further highlight is the appearance at the Graspop Metal Meeting and of course the show at the Wacken Open Air cult festival on August 3, 2006 before and with the Scorpians. Without a doubt, 2006 looks set to be an MSG year!
