The history of the Dark Storm Festival goes back 19 years and has found its beginning in Berlin at Huxleys and at Kraftwerk in Chemnitz. Until 2000, this festival had a huge boom with six festivals in a row being held in six towns. During the last years, the festival was always taking place in Chemnitz and also this edition will be held at the Stadthalle.
It is astonishing how many alternatives there are, if you won't or can't celebrate Christmas with your family. One of those alternatives is the Dark-Storm-Festival on 25th of December. To the bliss of the fans, the whole majesty of dark wave music will show up on stage, one after the other. There will be lots of diversion in the line-up with EISBRECHER, TANZWUT, GOETHES ERBEN up to UNZUCHT, AGONOIZE or LORD OF THE LOST, just to name a few.
It’s surely worth your while to look at the website of the festival. Like every year it looks like there will be at least two stages in use during the festival. On top of that the whole festival takes place in the warm and pleasant atmosphere at the Stadthalle. There are so many advantages for an indoor festival, especially in winter.
