IAMX
It's been a while since IAMX have graced the stages of Germany. After a cancelled tour in 2013 and further cancelled shows in 2014 due to mastermind Chris Corner's health issues, IAMX have made it their mission to sex up November and December 2015 with their “Metanoia” tour and it looks like it's happening for real this time. The tour accompanies the release of the same-titled album which is to be released in October 2015.
Chris Corner, singer and creative brain of IAMX, has been acquiring renown ever since he started out with the electronic trip-hop project SNEAKER PIMPS which he left after a while to pursue his own creative path with IAMX. The band is known for its experimental, impulsive electro sound, paired with sexual, confessional and socio-critical lyrics. IAMX have seen many line-up changes throughout the years except for Janine Gezang, keyboardist, bassist and muse of the British electro band.
Those who haven't seen IAMX in action yet can expect a wild and passionate show, filled with glitter, impressive costumes and a highly infectious energy unique to the band. Due to their long absence you should make sure to get a hold of tickets quickly for one of the shows. Reflections of Darkness will make sure to report about the Cologne show on 4th Nov, 2015!
