Nightwish, Amorphis, and Arch Enemy
With their awe inspiring music and bombastic live shows, the symphonic gods NIGHTWISH headlined one of the blackest festivals this summer, the M'era Luna festival in Hildesheim, Germany. They presented a colorful setlist featuring quite old songs, such as ‘She is my Sin’ and ‘Stargazers’, next to some new tunes from the recent ‘Endless Forms Most Beautiful’ album, namely, ‘Shudder Before the Beautiful’, ‘Yours is an Empty Hope’, ‘My Walden’, ‘Élan’, ‘Weak Fantasy’. The crowd in black really rocked out and, needless to say, there've also been multiple goose bumps moments as, for instance, during the classic ‘Ghost Love Score’, an all-time favorite.
Don't despair, if you've missed out on the grand spectacle that summer - the talented band around maestro Tuomas Holopainen is returning to Germany for a blast before the turn of the year! Why don't you hop on the NIGHTWISH carrousel as it turns round and round and join in one of the special Endless Forms Most Beautiful shows to celebrate the band's latest masterpiece live?! As we speak, the ‘Edema Ruh’ are roaming around South America and Mexico; and after entertaining Europe, they'll head over to Australia, Asia, North America, and finally Russia in 2016 to mesmerize audiences with their magic.
And there's more good news: NIGHTWISH are traveling heavy bringing along the Melodic Death Metal bands ARCH ENEMY and AMORPHIS as guests. So, as if hearing the Suomi symphonies live wasn't a highlight enough, you'll also get to see the mighty AMORPHIS, who'll present their hymns from the powerful, new album ‘Under the Red Cloud’. We've a lot to look forward to, folks!
