Solar Fake & Special Guest: Beyond Obsession
Are you into dark and saddish music that actually makes you wanna dance despite its melancholia? Then you've probably been thrilled by SOLAR FAKE’s latest melodic electro opus ‘Another Manic Episode’ and can't wait for their upcoming tour in February. Vocalist Sven Friedrich (DREADFUL SHADOWS, ZERAPHINE) and keyboardist André Feller are well known for creating floor filler hymns as well as emotional tunes that are characterized by Sven’s incredible voice and their talent to create manifold moods.
‘Another Manic Episode’, released on October 30th, 2015, is the duo's fourth record and presents diverse and powerful club hits, such as, ‘Not what I wanted’ and the single ‘All the things you say’, next to faster and more aggressive tracks as ‘Fake to be alive’, ‘Observer’, and ‘The race of the rats’ on the one hand, and on the other, beautifully melancholic songs like ‘If I were you’ and ‘I don't want you in here’. And then there's of course the beseeching ballad ‘Stay’ closing the album.
In February 2016, SOLAR FAKE will celebrate with their steadily growing fan base the brilliant union of wonderful melodies and driving beats, in-your-face aggression, and touching gloom and/ or bloom live on stage. They will bring along BEYOND OBSESSION as special guests, a synth pop project that has already performed at the WGT and supported several bands of the scene. Sounds like a promising night at the Kulttempel, right?! So, mark the date, dark electro maniacs, as SOLAR FAKE kick off their “Manic Episodes Tour 2016” in Oberhausen!
