The fans will be happy! For her next tour in 2017, Heather Nova has come up with something special, she is on tour with her masterpiece ‘Oyster’ from 1994. The songwriter will play her most famous and popular album complete with band accompaniment in eight German cities. In addition, there will be more pearls from Heather Nova’s feather to marvel.
Born in Bermuda, Heather began her career in London in the early 1990s. The British "NME" describes her debut ‘Glow Stars’ (1993) as “the black shining olive in the middle of a gray-brown antipasti plate”. Her second album ‘Oyster’ then climbs the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and gives the artist the first world tour. After ‘Oyster’ followed the rise of the musician, because with the following record, ‘Siren’, the name Heather Nova firmly established itself in the music world. Worldwide chart placements of their singles and invitations to the biggest festivals in Europe and the USA followed. In addition, their songs were played from now on in big TV shows and used for film soundtracks.
Not least because of her captivating live shows, Heather soon finds a big fan base and she was touring at the beginning of her career up to eight months a year. Her sound is unique, she combines cellos and distorted guitars, which form the base for the angelic voice of Heathers with her siren-like singing. Her live performances are such intense and extraordinary experiences that they create enthusiasts everywhere, and the crowd of followers grows steadily. Last time, Heather Nova was on tour in Germany with her latest album ‘The Way It Feels’ in 2016.
