HUGH JACKMAN arrives - and sings. The Hollywood star has announced the dates for his first world tour. In May and June, the smart Australian travels around the world with a major show production and live orchestra, including the most popular blockbuster songs, ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘Les Misérables’, as well as many more Broadway - and movie hits. The JACKMAN fans in Germany can look forward to an entertaining as well as glamorous show evening with a real world star and numerous musical highlights.
Germany is four times on the schedule: JACKMAN celebrates not only the kick-off of his “HUGH JACKMAN - The Man. The Music. The Show.”- World Tour on May 13 at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. He will perform at the Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena on May 14, as well as two days later, on May 16, at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne and on May 21 at the SAP Arena in Mannheim.
In this country, HUGH JACKMAN is certainly known to most people as an action hero and tough guy from films such as ‘Password: Swordfish’, ‘Real Steel’, ‘Australia’ and of course by his role as Logan aka Wolverine in the Marvel blockbuster series ‘X-Men’. “The Sexiest Man Alive”, as he was called by People Magazine him a few years ago, understands not only to masterfully convince on the cinema screen, but he is also a great singer and dancer, who despite an impressive Hollywood Career always likes to return to the stage. Not surprisingly, JACKMAN received his first Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his performance in the hit movie ‘Les Misérables,’ based on the successful stage production of Victor Hugo’s famous eponymous novel. Barnum earned him a Golden Globe nomination. The film’s soundtrack has broken records worldwide and has achieved multi-platinum status in many countries, including the UK and America.
