When Anders Trentemöller's album 'The Last Resort' conquered the world by storm four years ago, the Danish multi-instrumentalist already had built up a reputation with a few single productions, advanced to classics by now. The successor to 'The Last Resort', to be released in May, has equal depth and soul, but sounds fresh and different. More than anything the 10 pieces show that TRENTEMÖLLER doesn't hesitate to taking chances, to get new inspiration and step beyond the sonic borders of his debut. Says Trentemöller: “Of course I didn’t want to make the same record again. That would’ve been boring.” Instead he collected new ideas without thinking too much about where the music would lead him. “All I knew was that I wanted the music to be a bit more organic and warmer. It shouldn’t be sounding typically electronic.”

Compared to the very personal, moody tracks on ‘The Last Resort’, the tracks on ‘Into The Great White Yonder’ indeed have an Indie Rock aesthetic. Wailing, distorted guitars crowd this record just as memorable synth sounds and melodic vocal pieces. The sonic diversity, the strong contrasts and brave timbres give way to an atmosphere that surprises yet is distinctively TRENTEMÖLLER .'Into The Great White Yonder' is an album growing on you with every listen, with every track crawling further beneath your skin. The release will be accompanied by a world tour, starting in autumn 2010.
