After the recording of the upcoming dvd ' End Of An Era" -live release in Hartwall-Arena, Helsinki, there is some sad news. As you can imagine, the atmosphere in the Arena was wild but also quite blue. This was the ending for a one and a half year lasting "Once" -World Tour. Nightwish wishes to thank everybody for an unbelievable tour.

Unfortunately the title "End Of An Era" also holds a deeper meaning. The open letter, which was given to Tarja after the show, tells it all.

After finishing the tour for the MCD "Bloodshed" in august 2005, Krisiun just started the production of their new full length album in Germany at the Stage One Studios with producer Andy Classen.

The death metal band already finished the recording and is currently working on mastering process. The album still doesn't have a definitive title but soon it will be announced as well as the release date (probably early 2006).
Also the band would like to thanks everyone which supported their last tour "hail to you true metal hordes". Breaking news and show dates will be getting posted all the time. So keep aware because the world's genocide has begun.

Here is also an interview with frontman Alex about his devotion and tourlife:

After yesterday's news of the split up of Orphanage, there's more sad news:

Despite inking a brand new record deal for the European continent and terrific reviews for their latest album "Seven Circles" (album of the month in Dutch magazine AARDSCHOK), Jeff Martin has announced that he's leaving the Canadian rock trio to spend more time with his family and to finish his solo album; followed by a tour in support. This fact hasn't been officially been confirmed by the management, but Martin spoke freely of his departure in an interview with 97.7 HitzFM (Canadian radiostation; http://www.htzfm.com/ ). Drummer Jeff Burrows and bass player Stuart Chatwood are shocked and saddened by this sudden decision. Jeff Burrows replied on the German/European Tea Party site http://www.theteaparty.de/:

"This announcement is a shock to both me and Stuart. Jeff hasn't tried to contact the band, so I really don't know how to react to this. I have been genuine in ALL my interviews and never once lied to anyone. It's been fun, but... whatever happened has happened. With thanks and always much appreciation to all of the friends and fans, I bid you a very, very sad adieu." - J. Burrows

The Tea Party recorded 7 albums in their more than 15 years on the rock scene.

NME.com is reporting that DISTURBED have been forced to cancel the rest of their European tour after singer David Draiman was diagnosed with a severe inflammation of the vocal chords. Draiman has been advised by a throat specialist in London to completely rest his voice until he receives a clean bill of health. He has now travelled back to Los Angeles to receive further specialist treatment.

A statement from the band said: "Please note that all cancelled shows will be rescheduled and the new dates will be announced as soon as they're confirmed. Fans are asked to keep hold of their tickets as the dates are likely to be set for next March."

DISTURBED were in London for a sold-out show at the Astoria last Thursday (October 13).

The cancelled tour dates are:
Oct. 17 - Manchester, UK @ Academy
Oct. 19 - Berlin, GER @ S036
Oct. 20 - Nuremburg, GER @ Lowensaal
Oct. 22 - Munich, GER @ Eslerzusatzhalle
Oct. 23 - Cologne, GER @ Live Music Hall
Oct. 24 - Amsterdam, NETH @ Paradiso
Oct. 26 - Hamburg, GER @ Markthalle
