From 6th to 8th June 2008 at the Nürburgring in the Eifel and around the Nürnberg Zeppelin field, you'll hear the finest that is available in the live music scene right now. With METALLICA and DIE TOTEN HOSEM, two giants will return to the sites of their biggest successes. RAGE AGAINST THE MAXHINE are the third headliner, who will link to their legendary appearances at the concerts in 1994, 1996 and 2000 after a long absence.
For METALLICA, the exclusive performances at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park are two of a hand full all over Europe and are the definitive only concert in Germany 2008.DIE TOTEN HOSEN will open their new live cycle after almost three years of absence with the home games at the twin festivals.
The line-up in its early stage shows the dimensions of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park once again, that were already sold out at the presale last year and broke the sonic barrier with more than a 150.000 attendees. Already confirmed are: SPORTFREUNDE STILLER, NIGHTWISH, MOTÖRHEAD, BABYSHAMBLES, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINES, IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR as well as THE HELLACOPTERS.
We'll shortly announce more famous festival participants who belong to the 85 bands on three stages. Soccer fans don't have to quit on the games of the Euro 2008, because the games will be shown on big projection walls at Public Viewing Areas
The presale for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park has already started and all Ring. And Park rockers will get the chance to save themselves a ticket at the cost of the last year's tickets: 125,- EUR (126,- EUR Rock im Park) including presale charges, camping as well as the refundable garbage pledge. Additional cost will be CTS fees and eventually postage.
