Led by Synth-Pop legend VNV NATION, organizer FKP Scorpio confirms further acts for the M’era Luna Festival. The line-up of Europe’s largest Gothic festival is now complete and around 25,000 guests will once again gather at the Hildesheim-Drispenstedt airfield on August 10th and 11th, 2024. VNV NATION have earned a special reputation: Of course, the core of their sound is consistently electronic, but at the same time the design and effect of their music has always been symphonic and orchestral. It is therefore no coincidence that mastermind Ronan Harris invited the Leipzig Philharmonic to his last and unforgettable M’era Luna visit. With ‘Electric Sun’ VNV NATION now deliver new electronic sounds, but the new album is also characterized by the elegiac power and delicately orchestrated dramaturgy that make the band’s live shows in particular into anthemic masterpieces.With EPICA, a band has been confirmed that also knows how to make big gestures: The Dutch formation around front woman Simone Simons plays Symphonic Metal that can seem just as brutal as it is fragile. Your minions will enrich the program with electronic avant-garde, which also receives a new facet with the metal instance HAEMATOM. DEATHSTARS from Sweden deliver great Industrial Metal, while LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT travels from California. COMBICHRIST also fly across the pond to play an old school set. Also announced are crowd favourites ZERAPHINE, SHE PAST AWAY, THE CASSANDRA COMPLEX, [X]-RX, S.P.O.C.K, FUTURE LIED TO US and CENTHRON. HELL BOULEVARD, SCHWARZER ENGEL, ERDLING, EDEN WEINT IM GRAB, RROYCE, STERIL and EXTIZE complete the line-up.
