For the first time ever, the 2LP, 3CD expanded, and deluxe digital versions include the full-length version of ‘The Outlaw Torn’, which was originally shortened due to the time limitations of the CD format.

Originally released on 4 June 1996, ‘Load’ became METALLICA’s second album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where it remained for four consecutive weeks. The 1995 sessions at The Plant in Sausalito, California, which spawned both Load and its 1997 follow-up ‘ReLoad’, saw James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Jason Newsted carve out another landmark entry in METALLICA’s catalogue.

Today, two of the four singles from Load - ‘Until It Sleeps’ and ‘King Nothing’ - continue to electrify audiences worldwide, appearing regularly in setlists on the band’s M72 World Tour.
