The U.S. guitar legend is coming to Germany in July for three open-air concerts. Carlos Santana is widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of his generation. Rolling Stone ranked him No. 20 among the greatest guitarists of all time and No. 90 among the greatest musicians of all time. With a discography spanning 26 studio albums, several live albums and countless collaborations, his band SANTANA has become one of the world’s most successful Latin Rock acts.Carlos Santana has won ten Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammy Awards, and he and his band have secured their place in music history with hits such as ‘Samba Pa Ti’, ‘Oye Como Va’, ‘Black Magic Woman’, ‘Maria Maria’ and ‘Smooth’. Even in the sixth decade of his career, Santana has no intention of putting down his guitar.
That is why he will return to the road in 2027. The “Planet of Free Will Global Tour” will bring SANTANA to Germany for three shows in July: at SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach, BRITA-Arena Wiesbaden and the Peißnitz Open-Air Stage in Halle (Saale).
The tour serves as a reminder “to raise a deeper awareness that our planet is a planet of free will, and that each of us has the power to choose unity over division, harmony over conflict, and love over fear,” says Carlos Santana. “At every SANTANA concert, we communicate and share unity, harmony and oneness through every note, reminding everyone that we have the free will to choose a higher consciousness and to live for the highest good of all.”
