For more than three decades, ARCHIVE have defied easy categorisation. Founded in Croydon in 1994, the collective combine Trip-Hop, Electronic music, Art Rock, Soul and Progressive sounds to create music that is constantly evolving while remaining unmistakably their own. In autumn 2027, this journey will take them back to Germany, with stops in Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Munich.At the heart of the tour is ‘Not In My Name’, the band’s 14th studio album, due for release on 19 March 2027 via Dangervisit / [PIAS]. Arriving just one year after ‘Glass Minds’, it is a considerably more turbulent record. Eleven new tracks channel anger, urgency and political conviction, centred around the 18-minute anti-war title track. Ambient Hip-Hop meets Art Rock, electronic textures, Neo-Prog, punk-infused intensity and explosive Rap passages, while ARCHIVE also leave room for quieter, fragile moments. Founder Darius Keeler describes the album as the band’s most impressive record to date.
The current line-up underlines why ARCHIVE are more collective than conventional Rock band. Alongside Keeler and Danny Griffiths, Dave Pen, Pollard Berrier, Lisa Mottram and rapper Jimmy Collins bring different voices and perspectives to the band’s sound. Collins, who officially joined the group following the 2025 tour, also reconnects with the Rap roots of their debut album ‘Londinium’. On the monumental title track, all five ARCHIVE vocalists can be heard together for the first time, including returning vocalist Holly Martin. ‘Not In My Name’ thus becomes an album that refuses to separate musical scale from subject matter, instead intertwining the two.
‘Glass Minds’ had already revealed ARCHIVE in a new, expansive form: stripped-back, melancholic and shaped by an orchestral approach. For the recordings, the band worked with, among others, a 12-piece brass section whose sound plays a decisive role across the almost 80-minute album. Singer Dave Pen describes the stage as the place where ARCHIVE’s songs continue to grow and transform.
That is precisely what the 2027 tour is set to explore. ARCHIVE will bring together the strongest moments from ‘Glass Minds’ and ‘Not In My Name’ with classics spanning more than 30 years of the band’s history. Extended builds, shifting vocal perspectives, massive rhythms and quieter passages make their concerts an experience that is as physical as it is cinematic. Following major arena shows across Europe and their biggest headline performance to date at Paris’ Accor Arena, this tour promises ARCHIVE at full scale: uncompromising, emotional and intensely present.
