Nena - unplugged concert

What a Christmas surprise for the employees of Amazon Brieselang near Berlin! It was kept secret right up to the last minute which music act would play for the 1,000+ employees of Amazon. Then the manager let the cat of the bag - 80s world star NENA. Wow! Hard to believe, but it was really true. With more than 25 million records sold worldwide, NENA is one of the most successful German artists in the history of music. Today she would perform five of her biggest hits unplugged with her band. https://www.nena.de / https://www.facebook.com/NENAofficial

Empathy Test & Adam is a Girl

After several journeys as support of bands like MESH, the young British Electro Pop band EMPATHY TEST started their first headlining tour through Germany. The opening show in Oberhausen made very clear: It won't be their last tour as headliners!

Wednesday 13 & Diablo Blvd

How about some Horror-Punk-Metal-Glam-Doom-Hard-Rock? November 13th seemed just like the perfect day for WEDNESDAY 13 to be in town to celebrate their new and long-awaited release ‘Condolences’. Mastermind Joseph Poole and his band mates tore apart the FWZ in Dortmund with the help of their crushing, darkly, rocking guitar riffs and macabre lyrics and put on a ghoulish show. The “grooving monster” DIABLO BLVD from Antwerp came along to get the “Nuclear Blast” Metal party started and present their new piece ‘Zero Hour’. With powerful vocals, huge hymns, and a lot of pounding drums they managed to move the initially quite restrained crowd.

Eisbrecher, Clawfinger, Jürgen und ich

For aficionados of the New German Hardness sound there’s no better way to celebrate the end of the year than having a blast with the Munich combo EISBRECHER. It was for the second time this year that the winning team around vocalist Alexx Wesselsky decided to raise the roof of the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. Alex thanked their followers for coming out once again and of course we of Reflections of Darkness also gladly accepted the band’s invite.

Dark Storm Festival 2017 with Blutengel, Leaether Strip, Project Pitchfork, Lord Of The Lost, Solar Fake, Hocico, Grausame Töchter, She Past Away, Erdling, Faderhead, Destin Fragile, Palast

Incredibly, it is Dark Storm Festival's 21st year. As every year, it provides a wonderful opportunity to escape from the family and Christmas parties. And as every year, it attracts many black dressed Gothic and Dark Electro fans. Due to the mild weather, there was no problems getting to the festival - in fact, the waiting fans in front of the venue enjoyed six degrees and sunshine! The audience was offered a successful mix of Electro, Aggrotech, Dark Rock, Alternative and Post Punk this year. Headliners were the German bands BLUTENGEL and PROJECT PITCHFORK.
