Gruenspan, Hamburg, Germany25th November 2025
Perturbator & Special Guests: Kælan Mikla and GosT
On November 25th, 2025, Hamburg’s iconic Gruenspan slowly filled with fans as the audience drifted in ahead of the long-anticipated return of PERTURBATOR. The venue was, as the Germans say, -uncomfortably tight - due to the overwhelming amount of equipment the dark prince of Synthwave brought with him.

The Hives - “The Hives Forever Forever The Hives - World Tour 2025” - Support: Spiritual Cramp, Yard Act
On a cold December night in Cologne, the Palladium found itself transformed into a pressure chamber of sweat, riffs, and beautifully unhinged showmanship. THE HIVES, long regarded as one of Rock’n’Roll’s most reliable detonators, arrived not merely to promote a new album but to reaffirm - yet again - their rule as the world’s most gleefully chaotic live band.

Obsidian Echoes 2025 with Lebanon Hanover, Cold Cave, Ultra Sunn, Selofan, Rue Oberkampf, Ash Code & Soft Analog
The inaugural Obsidian Echoes Festival opened the doors of the Weststadthalle to a crowd of roughly 600 - 700 darkly dressed enthusiasts, ready for a marathon of Darkwave, Post Punk and New Wave. Although doors opened a good thirty minutes later than advertised, any impatience quickly dissolved once the night’s atmosphere settled in - a carefully curated blend of nostalgia and modern electronics, where icy minimalism met warm synth-driven melancholy.

Täubchenthal, Leipzig, Germany22nd November 2025
Diary of Dreams & Special Guest: Auger
On 31st October, DIARY OF DREAMS released their latest EP ‘Dead End Dreams‘. The band has been on tour since 14th November, and I already had the pleasure of attending the show in Frankfurt last Sunday. So I had a fair idea of what to expect in Leipzig today, and my anticipation for this evening in the lovely Täubchenthal was accordingly high. In the end, though, I look back on the night with somewhat mixed feelings. But first things first, but not necessarily in that order.
