The Plot In You - “UK/EU Tour” - Special guests: Acres, Invent.Animate
Besides heaviest rainfalls and dropping temperatures, September 2024 has packed another punch: The American Metalcore band THE PLOT IN YOU is coming to town, which all but guarantees a good and sweaty time for all music enthusiasts. And they heeded the call in droves, as the event has been sold-out in no time, so it had to be upgraded from Die Kantine to the larger E-Werk, which is understandable as the band played Germany live back in 2019. THE PLOT IN YOU have been formed 2010, and they are on their fifth album ‘Swan Song’, which they will present live together with a carefully curated list of other songs with their unrelenting energy.

XIX Prague Gothic Treffen with S.P.O.C.K, Girls Under Glass, Rue Oberkampf, Whispers In The Shadow, Alien Vampires, This Eternal Decay, Abu Nein, In Mitra Medusa Inri, Suir, Emmon, Denuit, Eat My Teeth, Raskolnikov, CosmoBrigade
This last weekend of August weekend, the 19th edition of Prague Gothic Treffen (PGT) took place on the island of Štvanice in Prague, where the iconic venues Fuchs2 and Bike Jesus hosted an unforgettable celebration of Darkwave, Post-Punk, and Gothic music. The festival, which has grown into the most sought-after gothic gathering in Central Europe since its inception in 2004, was a sold-out event that truly lived up to its reputation. Over the years, PGT has become a space not only for enjoying music but for fostering a sense of community among fans of the dark subculture from all over Europe.

Travis - “Raze The Bar Tour” - Support: Hamish Hawk
The sun rays are finding their way more and more often into the changeable Germany, and one or two warm days are enough for the feelings of happiness to explode and the summer playlists to start playing again. For those who need musical material for nighttime road trips or campfires with friends, it’s time to revisit the discography of the Scottish Alternative Rock band TRAVIS - because rarely has dreamy longing been packaged so beautifully in songs as by Fran, Andy, Dougie, and Neil. The current tour supporting the new album ‘L.A. Times’ brings the Scots with their yearning Britpop design to Cologne, Berlin, and Hamburg in September. We visited the show at Cologne’s Live Music Hall.

Forced To Mode & Special Guest: Morphose
“And on an evening like this, you realize that this is the life you want to live.” Arc Morten
Actually, I could have experienced FORCED TO MODE right at my doorstep, as I live in Merkers in Thuringia, where the band played on April 13, 2024, 500 meters underground on the stage of the former large bunker in the adventure mine Erlebnisbergwerk Merkers. Apart from the fact that the concert was understandably sold out in a relatively short time with 1,400 tickets, I had just returned from another concert trip on that day, namely MORPHOSE from Göttingen, who performed on April 12, 2024, at Club EXIL.
