The French Industrial Metal band HORSKH just released their new album ‘MTNT’. Accompanying the release is the music video for the new single ‘Twisted Flesh’. With ‘MTNT’, HORSKH continue their exploration of the theme of transformation, which runs through the band’s current era both musically and visually. Following the previously released singles ‘Bad Glitch’, ‘Hyperhuman’ and ‘Glow’, ‘Twisted Flesh’ reveals another facet of the album.‘Twisted Flesh’ becomes a metaphor for those who feel the need to change - whether their path in life, their identity or their relationship with their own body. At the same time, it represents a broader transformation: that of a world in which the boundaries between body, technology and humanity are increasingly blurred. A change that is already affecting our everyday lives and the way we live, while its next stages remain largely within the realm of imagination.
Frontman Bastien Hennaut describes the musical approach behind ‘Twisted Flesh’ as follows: “With this track, I wanted to create a kind of Nirvana on amphetamines. And of course, it’s been transformed, dislocated, and tortured in true HORSKH style!” On ‘MTNT’, driving Industrial sounds, heavy guitars, electronic elements and melodic passages come together, further developing HORSKH’s musical and visual evolution.
