Ultima Ratio Fest 2025 with Dark Tranquillity, Soen, Equilibrium & Iotunn
On 8 October 2025, A2 Centre in Wroclaw will shake to the sound of some of Europe’s finest heavy music as Ultima Ratio Fest returns to Poland with a stellar line-up. Fans of melodic Death, Progressive Metal and Folk-infused anthems will find plenty to lose themselves in, as four heavyweight bands join forces for a night to remember.
At the top of the bill stand DARK TRANQUILLITY, the Swedish pioneers who shaped melodic Death Metal back in the nineties and continue to push their sound with relentless energy and haunting Gothic undertones. Sharing the stage are fellow Swedes SOEN, masters of balancing progressive ambition with Metal’s raw power - a band whose songs hit hard yet shimmer with emotion and intricate arrangements.
Germany’s EQUILIBRIUM add a different flavour, fusing the bittersweet sweep of Folk melodies with metalcore intensity, creating songs that can be both wistful and wildly mosh-friendly. Finally, Denmark’s IOTUNN promise an adventurous set weaving majestic melodic Death Metal with touches of Folk, Black Metal and Doom - proof that Nordic Metal storytelling is alive and well.
This edition of Ultima Ratio Fest is not to be missed, whether you come for soaring riffs, thoughtful lyrics or a pit that won’t stand still for a second.
