Germany’s chart-topping Folk Metal sensation FEUERSCHWANZ return with a powerful new rendition of their anthemic fan-favourite ‘Das Elfte Gebot’ - and it’s more stirring than ever. Reimagined with a sweeping orchestral arrangement, the Epic Edition is a bold, emotional reinterpretation that channels pathos, melancholy, and unrelenting joie de vivre in equal measure. The track will appear as part of select special editions of FEUERSCHWANZ’s forthcoming studio album ‘Knightclub’, due for release on 22 August 2025 via Napalm Records.
‘Knightclub’ is set to be a defining moment for the band. Packed with rousing sing-alongs, fierce Metal riffs and FEUERSCHWANZ’s unmistakable humour, the album also breaks new ground as their first full-length studio album to feature English titles and more English lyrics than ever before. The title track ‘Knightclub’, which the band performed during the German Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection, instantly became a fan-favourite and a true metal party anthem, featuring Dag-Alexis Kopplin from SDP.
The album bridges the epic and the eccentric. Tracks like ‘Valhalla’ (featuring vocal support by Metal icon Doro Pesch) and ‘Avalon’ showcase the band’s more serious, mythic side, while ‘The Tale of Sam the Brave’ plunges into Tolkien-inspired realms. ‘Name der Rose’ continues their literary streak, and ‘Lords of Fyre’ featuring LORD OF THE LOST is a blazing precursor to the co-headline tour of the same name.
‘Knightclub’ was produced by Simon Michael (SUBWAY TO SALLY) and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Arch ENEMY, VOLBEAT, EVERGREY), with artwork by renowned illustrator Peter Sallai (POWERWOLF, SABATON, SAXON, HAMMERFALL). Some formats are already sold out - fans should act fast to secure their copy.
