EDITORS’ sound could best be described as hypnotic: The Brits make dark brooding Indie Rock that has kept their global fanbase captivated for over 20 years. Who GLOCKENBACH is remains questionable - unlike the success of this secret fusion of Electro and Pop, which has reached a million audience and gold status. Good times for fans of SEA GIRLS: The London Indie Rock band will release their long-awaited album ‘Midnight Butterflies’ just a few days before their gigs at Hurricane and Southside.
SPRINTS from Dublin are coming, whose raw and intense Alt-Rock is captivating more and more people. Canadian Nicholas Durocher, aka TALK, first made a name for himself with his hit single ‘Run Away to Mars’ - given his talent, it was clear that this would not be his last success. Also from Canada is Ruby Waters, whose Folk-Indie-Pop crossover has been awarded a Juno Award. FLØRE is a dreamer who can bring the moon down to her audience: Emotional Dark Pop, carried by instrumental skill and a unique voice.
Also on stage will be the winners of the GAMECHANGER contest: The newcomer competition aims to give a platform to FLINTA* artists. Public voting is still open until April 3rd, and the winners for Hurricane and Southside will be announced afterwards.
Tickets starting at 259 or 279 euros are available on the festival websites of Hurricane and Southside. The final price level of 299 euros for Southside will apply from Thursday, April 4th at 12 pm. Hurricane and Southside are cooperative events by FKP Scorpio and DreamHaus.
