A world-class anniversary: 30 years of hurricane - what a party! It was a celebration beyond expectations. Marking three decades of the Hurricane Festival, the past few days in Scheeßel delivered an absolute triumph of live music, securing a place in the festival’s history. Attendees arrived with boundless energy, transforming Hurricane 2026 into an unforgettable experience across the mosh-pits, campgrounds, and stages. The anniversary-worthy line-up resulted in a deserved sell-out. The organisers extend their gratitude to the 78,000 festival-goers, the performing artists, and the entire crew behind the scenes.The presale for the 2027 edition will officially commence Tuesday 23 June at 12:00. The Hurricane Festival will return to its familiar grounds next year from 18 to 20 June 2027. The Warm-Up
The festival began in spectacular fashion with a series of exceptional opening performances. HANSEMÄDCHEN started the weekend by turning a collective choral performance into pure ecstasy. They were followed by HERRENMAGAZIN, who perfectly embodied profound and heartfelt German songwriting.
A wave of nostalgia then swept over the crowd as JULI unleashed a continuous barrage of their finest hits, after which PAULA CAROLINA delivered a fierce performance, providing definitive proof that Punk is very much alive. Later in the evening, SIEGFRIED & JOY captivated the audience with breathtaking illusions, before DISARSTAR closed the warm-up with a powerful performance characterized by strong political conviction and immense energy, completely transforming the tent stage.
Day 1
The official launch of the 30th-anniversary celebrations met with an overwhelming response from the audience. After a decade of performances, #hurricaneswimteam delivered their final curtain call, leaving a lasting legacy. On the Mountain Stage, BASEMENT graced the festival with a highly anticipated and deeply revered performance. A major highlight was provided by DONOTS; celebrating 25 years since their festival debut, their show featured guest appearances by Elton on cowbell and Jakob from LEONIDEN on piano, alongside SIEGFRIED & JOY and a foam cannon.
Bringing an intense energy to the sunny afternoon, YUNGBLUD delivered a performance that single-handedly championed the spirit of Rock. This was followed by KRAFTKLUB, who spawned multiple simultaneous mosh-pits and led the audience in what could be described as the world’s most passionate collective sing-along. Finally, DIE HELDEN DES ITALOSCHLAGERS invited the crowd to dance, uniting the audience in an atmosphere of pure romance.

Day 2
Brilliant summer weather accompanied a day of massive performances. NATASHA BEDINGFIELD appropriately soundtracked the Saturday sunshine by performing her classic hit ‘Pocketful of Sunshine’. Later on, the alternative veterans PAPA ROACH engaged the Scheeßel crowd in an impressive vocal intensity contest. TWENTY ONE PILOTS exceeded all expectations, delivering a phenomenal set that featured flying drum kits and captured the hearts of the audience.
The afternoon also saw a massive turnout for SSIO; the prominent rapper from Bonn utilized his full production capabilities, delivering a performance that was grand in every dimension of Rap. Wrapping up the day’s successes, FINCH followed an appearance as a referee for a campsite game of Flunkyball by delivering an explosive headline set on the River Stage.
Day 3
The final day concluded with a celebration of high-energy performances in the sunshine. ECCA VANDAL opened the main programming with an explosive performance that instantly energized the crowd, which was followed by THE BUTCHER SISTERS delivering a heavy, high-octane dose of their signature style. THE BEACHES then proved why they are the perfect act to close out any celebration by delivering an exceptional gig. They were followed by A DAY TO REMEMBER, who staged a standout performance where the band and the audience engaged in complete synergy.
Redefining the boundaries of Electronic Pop, HALSEY captivated the festival with an unparalleled display of energy. The Berlin-based collective BHZ made a triumphant and emotional return, bringing maximal energy to shake the Mountain Stage. Matching the radiant solar theme of this year’s festival, EMPIRE OF THE SUN delivered a visually stunning show that transported the audience to another world.
As the sun began to set, PROVINZ invited the audience to dance in front of the River Stage, providing the perfect soundtrack to the sundown. To close the festival, BILLY TALENT treated fans by performing their seminal second album ‘Billy Talent II’ in its entirety, leading the crowd through a non-stop sequence of hits in the pit.
