Hurricane The line-up of the twin festivals Hurricane and Southside continues to grow: DEICHKIND join the headliner line-up with ED SHEERAN, K.I.Z, BRING ME THE HORIZON and AVRIL LAVIGNE. In total, 28 new acts have been announced for the two traditional festivals from June 21st to 23rd in Scheeßel and Neuhausen ob Eck.

Eloquent Escalation: For several decades, DEICHKIND has been influential in shaping contemporary German culture. The Hamburg-based group effortlessly combines hip-hop and electro to create a sound that is uniquely their own. Musical innovation is paired with lyrics that consciously embrace a hedonistic nature, delving deep into the abyss. With a playful wink, DEICHKIND has held the disco ball in front of several generations, and their 2023 album ‘Neues vom Dauerzustand’ is no exception in this regard. However, even fans simply looking for a good time can rejoice, as DEICHKIND consistently perform live as if there were no tomorrow.

“Where did she suddenly come from?” echoed through large parts of the music establishment in 2023. At that time, AYLIVA had already made a name for herself in social media years ago and, thanks to her talent, secured a major deal with two celebrated albums. After viral successes, chart-topping hits, and streaming records, it is clear: AYLIVA possesses the voice that German music has long been searching for - and in 2024, she can be exclusively found at the Hurricane and Southside festivals.

With TURNSTILE, a band from across the pond flies in, whose sound is positively hard to pin down: The group from Baltimore plays hardcore punk, but with such precision and to the point that their powerful sound is not only suitable for three Grammy nominations, but also for extremely creative jazz crossovers. Since 2010, the quartet has repeatedly surprised, and at the same time, their fans know exactly what to expect live: an energetic fusion of hardcore punk and melodic hardcore that seemingly effortlessly deceives the complexity of their music.

Also confirmed are the following music giants: IDLES, FEINE SAHNE FISCHFILET, TOM ODELL, BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB, SILVERSTEIN, and DANKO JONES. THE SUBWAYS, NOGA EREZ, FATONI, PAULA CAROLINA, ME FIRST & THE GIMME GIMMES, and KARPE have also announced their participation. ENNO BUNGER, ADAM ANGST, STELLA BOSSI, IDKHOW, THE LAST DINNER PARTY, and BOOKA SHADE are further guarantees for great live shows. BUNTSPECHT, RITTER LEAN, BECKY HILL, FAST BOY, THE REYTONS, and AARON will also thrill their audience. At the Hurricane, the #Hurricaneswimteam will once again open the festival weekend.

Further acts will be announced shortly. Information and tickets starting at 259 euros are available on the festival websites of Hurricane and Southside. For Southside tickets, the next pricing level of 279 euros will apply from Friday, December 22nd, starting at 12 pm.
