In a scene that likes to put bands into drawers and then slams the commode APOCALYPTICA successfully defended their widespread repertoire again and again. Not only as the international leader of the market but also as a band that created its own market - and that proves time and time again that Rock music has nothing to with the instruments you play it on but with the attitude you have.
After they were heavily celebrated last year, MADSEN insist to play the AREA4 in 2008 again. With their new album ‘Krieg im Frieden’, which will be released in March, MADSEN have become more hard and extreme again but also more modern. Singer Sebastian explains: “We wanted to record something that sounds gritty, monumental, different but not professional”.
The Punk Rock legends of PENNYWISE still know - after countless years of touring - how to rock the house. There are only a few Punk Rock bands, which are successfully in the business for 15 months let alone 15 years. That fact alone already shows these guys are legends. In March 2008 they will release a new album and in August you can mosh to the old and new hits in Borkenberge.
From the rehearsal room to the stage, that’s the success story of the KILLIANS in brief. Just graduated from college and already considered as the hottest rock band of the hour and playing in front of a thousand dancing girls and boys. It’s a home game for the guys at the Area4 and they will only leave the stage, if the audience is begging them for mercy because they just can’t dance any longer.
At the latest when it’s time for LESS THAN JOKE everyone will be on his feet again. The leg shrugs where the guys turn up their amplifiers. With their Fun Ska-Punk and their great sense of humour they gathered a big fan base. A Headliner position at the Vans Warped Tour as well as dancing and rocking people all over the world speak for themselves.
