We feel a bit aristocratic now, as in some way our Area4 has become - regardless of its still young age - the Rock’n’Roll knightly accolade. The Rockpalast (Rock Palace), the Queen Mum of music television will be there as presenter and will record several performances to broadcast it in various episodes.
As if that wouldn’t be enough reason to be happy, we’ll also celebrate our survey into the rock aristocracy on the big Area4 stage and at the Coca Cola tent. Under the motto “New bands for the Area4”, the Coca Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour halts in Lüdinghausen. You can still vote on http://www.area4.de/ until 21st April 2008, which one of the Coca Cola bands should be in on the Area4. Of course we also put some guitar swinging rock heroes on stage. With so much aristocracy, you just can’t miss “King Football”. Together with our partners Bolzen, MySpace and Via con Agua, the finale of the first “Festival Soccer Cup 2008” and the preliminary decision of the “Festival Soccer Cup 2008” will be hold at the Area4.
