THE FLAMES are back: The new single ‘Lunatic Dreams’ comes out on 6th March and the album Caution: Heat Inside’ will be released on 3rd April 2009. But that’s not all! After the album release the four-piece hits the road for an unusual tour through Germany’s cinemas. When their song ‘Everytime’ became a cult hit through the commercials of a soft drink manufacturer it was the breakthrough for the band from Mannheim after 10 years of band history. The four-piece around Oliver Heydenreich went on tour, the media presence at the huge TV stations and concerts in front of a big audience did their fair share and brought the single into the charts. But many were wondering why there wasn’t a follow-up in the same style. Instead THE FLAMES kept true to their usual sound on ‘Strike A Light’ (2005) being much more rock-oriented. NO winder as ‘Everytime’ not only was a commissioned work but a rather untypical song for the band.

With their new album ‘Caution: Heat Inside’ being released on 3rd April the band wants to link to their previous successes. Of course they don’t want to stay a One-Hit-Wonder and that’s why they will release with ‘Lunatic Dreams’ the first official single of the album. “We put all our energy into this album and with a great team we managed to bring the THE FLAMES sound musically straight to the point.” says Oliver Heydenreich “The songs do work live as well. WE always received positive feedback on the last shows. That’s a good sign and we’re ready for everything that might happen.” The tour through German cinemas starts on 5th April in Manheim and here are the dates:
