About Interlace

“As the clear-cut electronic soundscapes of Frontline Assembly and Clock DVA blend with the distorted fury of Skinny Puppy and NIN, a new machine is born.“

“Throbbing with intensity and aggression, it constitutes the merging point of ancient insights, a disillusioned present and the unfolding veils of tomorrow. It is a foundry for intelligence and instincts, for reason and lust, for the stark reality and that which lies beyond man's comprehension. It is an essence of progress. It is Interlace.”

Interlace released their first album “Innuendo” in 2002. An album that soon was recognized as one of the strongest industrial debuts released that year. A suggestive, harsh and dark album presenting you with suggestive tracks like “Soul of a New Machine” and “Stone Mirror”, soon to be followed by the stand alone single “Under The Sky” where the soundscape were even harder and more sinister. This release included a remix exchange with Akira Yamaoka, the man behind the music for world renowned computer game “Silent Hill”.

Two years later we were all treated with the bands second album “Imago”, the album cover created by artwork legend Dave McKean (Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly etc). The industrial embryo had grown – presenting a more mature and varied soundscape in tracks like “Master” (released as a single), the wonderful “Track Two” and evocative “Crystalline Hush”.

Interlace have always been an extravagant experience when seen on stage. The band brings elements of music and theatre into a complete and mindblowing experience. Interlace have been on tours in Germany as well as in south east Asia, and is soon to perform at the Kinetic festival in Canada.
