Fear Dark Festival: Endstille, Eluveitie, Thy Majesty, Sletchvalk, Inevitable End, Finsterforst
Again this year, the LKA Longhorn in Stuttgart is organizing a Fear Dark Festival, and the billing is not bad at all, especially with Germany's ENDSTILLE and the Pagan Metal group ELUVEITIE from Switzerland. The small festival will take place in the LKA Longhorn Stuttgart, quite a large venue, so there will be enough room for a huge bunch of fans to make a great party. http://www.lka-longhorn.de/
ENDSTILLEENDSTILLE is a Black Metal formation from Kiel, Germany. It was founded in 2000 by L Wachtfels (guitar), Mayhemic Destructor (drums), Iblis (vocals) and Cruor (bass). Their latest album release is ‘Endstilles Reich’ from 2007. http://www.endstille.com/
ELUVEITIE
ELUVEITIE is a Pagan Folk Metal band from Switzerland. Their sound can be described as Celtic Folk Metal with melodic Death Metal influences. The band formed in 2002 and their first EP, ‘Vên’, came out in 2003. They have just released their new studio album ‘Slania’ via Nuclear Blast Records. http://www.eluveitie.ch/
THY MAJESTIE
THY MAJESTIE is an Italian Power/Epic Metal formation founded in 1998. Their latest album ‘Jeanne D'Arc’ appeared in 2005. After a change from Scarlet Records to Dark Balance Records in 2007, they are now working on their new and fourth full-length release. http://www.thymajestie.com/
INEVITABLE END
The band from Gothenburg, Sweden, exists since 2003 and does some kind of Death/Thrash stuff. To date they have released two demos, the last of which, called ‘Reversal’, is from 2006. http://www.inevitable-end.com/
FINSTERFORST
FINSTERFORST is a Pagan-/Black Metal band originating from the Black Forest in the Southwest of Germany. After the EP ‘Wiege der Finsternis’ from 2006 they managed to release their debut full-length last year, entitled ‘Weltenkraft’. http://www.finsterforst.de/
