DEVILSTONE OPEN AIR – three days of music with devils in nature
Devilish feast on the bank of the river: three days of metallic uproar, headlined by SEPULTURA, and head banging spree together with the grands of metal scene KEEP OF KALESSIN, CODE, SINISTER in the DEVILSTONE OPEN AIR, also featuring Lithuanian metal elite and other extreme acts...
It is the debuting edition of the Lithuanian metal festival, oriented to foreign audiences as well as to the local ones. Twenty bands are confirmed for three concerts. The variety of metal styles as well as bands’ geography is wide enough – from Brazil through Europe to Jordan, not bypassing the traditional metal music nest – Scandinavia, for sure.
The Devilstone Open Air will take place in one of the most impressive corners of the Baltic’s – small but cute, cosy and historical Anyksciai town, offering much authentic sightseeing, as well as modern amusement. Find alternative/extreme culture in the context of local ancient heritage – this is the festival’s concept, inspired by Anyksciai town legend: “...a devil had been carrying a huge rock above the town, aiming to crush the church, but he failed to complete the mission as a cock scared him away at the break of dawn, so the stone was thrown down wherever to its fate...”
The festival mission is far reaching: beside the core of it all – three big metal concerts – it will offer a rich cultural program:
- Night Rockteques: Old-school rock music program after the concerts till early morning.
- Volleyball matches to win a Devil Stone as a trophy.
- Specially arranged excursion round the town for those not into sports but into culture.

Camping ground will be based right there along the river. Swimming, football, fresh air – overall place is grateful for natural attractions…

At present tickets are priced at 120 LTL/35 € for all three days. Further on tickets will cost 140 LTL/40 € and 150 LTL/43 €. Plus – one extra € per each ticket for the “Tiketa” service. Tickets will also be available at the entrance during the festival.
Foreign groups of 10 or more people can get a discount: 30 € per ticket for each person in the group. Tickets at a discount can be obtained via the organizer only.
