Kongreßhalle Alte Messe, Munich, Germany
21st December 2009
In Extremo - Tranquilo-Akustik Tour 2009

In 1995, the Middle Ages Rock band IN EXTREMO (short: InEx) was founded in Berlin. Currently, the band exists of singer “Das Letzte Einhorn” (Michael Robert Rhein), “Van Lange” (Sebastian Oliver Lange - guitar, Cister), “Der Morgenstern” (Reiner Morgenroth - percussion, kettledrum), "Die Lutter" (Kay Lutter - bass, kettledrum), "Dr. Pymonte" (André Strugala - shawm, harp), “Flex der Biegsame” (Marco Ernst-Felix Zorzytzky - shawm, hurdy-gurdy) and "Yellow Pfeiffer" (Boris Pfeiffer - Nyckelharpa, shawm).

Beside the instruments usual used for rock bands, they distinguish themselves by the fact that they also use medieval, partially even self-built instruments as for example hurdy-gurdy and shawm. Just as a part of their instruments also comes a large part of their lyrics from Europe of the Middle Ages and is written in different languages. Before they'll make a longer break, they say goodbye with a special acoustic concert evening in well-chosen locations which presents a cross-section of their complete works. In the course of the tour their way also leads them to the Kongreßhalle Munich.
