Assemblage 23, Abstract Decay
Prior to starting ASSEMBLAGE 23, mastermind Tom Shear had already made music from the beginning of the 80´s. Eventually, the foundation stone of the American project had been laid in 1988 at a DEPECHE MODE concert when Shear listened to the opening DJ who played industrial dance music. In 1999, Tom Shear released the first ASSEMBLAGE 23 album entitled with `Contempt´ and soon received a growing attention that has been undiminished until today. Last year, ASSEMBLAGE 23´s most recent album `Compass´ hit the stores and was highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike. This year, Tom Shear will be on an extensive tour leading him to Europe and the USA from February to May.
On 4th February 2010, the tour is going to be started in Frankfurt´s popular club Nachtleben which is located downtown. With regard to the project´s discography, it can be assumed that the concert will be a very special event.
