Remembering albums such as the blasting debut ‘Hybrid Theory’ and 2003’s follow-up ‘Meteora’ brings back fond thoughts and how they really came like a bombshell many, many years ago. The energy that indwells them, the cutting riffs laced to the piercing screams and clean vocals of Chester Bennington and the clever raps of Mike Shinoda is matchless and unfolds with full force even long after their release.
The third album ‘Minutes To Midnight’ saw the band veering into rather poppy realms and with that wasn’t quite a favourite with everyone. But now it’s 2010 and it’s the year the band released their fourth record ‘A Thousand Suns’, which is reconciling old fans with their idols and pleasing new ones alike. Supporting their new record with a tour, the six-piece comes to Dortmund to start a big celebration with their fans at Westfalenhalle.
