Album Review

“What a good night to die,” said a hero of the movie ‘Flatliners’, doesn’t matter if it was raining or still night with the skies full of stars. What a nice start for the album, might be thought Jasyn Bangert recording the new album of GOD MODULE. But don’t worry this album will keep you alive.

The project GOD MODULE is known too well to tell and retell its history. If you never heard it before – it is a great mixture of Industrial, Gothic and Electro. The mastermind Jasyn Bangert took the very best of those musical directions and created the fabulous monster, which amazes and scares you at the same time. And that’s why we love it. It wouldn’t be correct to say, it is something outstanding. But it is a really high quality product, and if you are interested in this kind of music – you shouldn’t dismiss ‘False Face’.

From the very beginning the project had a great success and all the critics were so kind and happy about it. So I won’t be the exception. As well as this album is no exception from the discography of GOD MODULE. The album is good. If you like dark electro, you’ll love it. It has everything it needs: nice beats, nice samples, distorted vocals, even clean vocals, dark spooky atmosphere, lyrics full of violence and harsh dance music which normally gets people to trance while they are on the dance floor. It’s aggressive but it doesn’t disturb. It is a perfectly balanced album, so it’s almost boring.
