TROLLFEST, the band that defines its sound as True Norwegian Balkan Metal, has released a video of live footage shot during the band’s recent appearance at the Rock In, Oslo.  The two-song video shows TROLLFEST performing "Der Jegermeister", which has proved over the years to be one of the fan favourites, and opens with "Wo bin ich jetzt aufgewacht?", which features Eirik “Trollbank” Renton (URGEHALL, EIRIK RENTON AND HIS NOBLE ORCHESTRA), trading his usual place behind the drum kit with front man Jostein “Trollmannen”Austvik, to play the bouzouki, one of the several more exotic instruments that this multi-instrumentalist is able to bring to the TROLLFEST table.  The video can be seen on the band’s MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/trollfest

TROLLFEST, which draws its members from bands such as URGEHAL, PANTHEON I, UNTIME, MELCH, SARKOM,   HALLUCINATIONS and POWERSWORD,  recently completed work on, ”En Kvest For Den Hallige Gral”, which will be the band’s fourth full-length album.  As always TROLLFEST’s music draws on influences from both traditional Norwegian and Balkan Folk, to create a sound that is an amalgam of head banging metal and sheer exuberance.
