Together with DARK TRANQUILITY and AT THE GATES, the men of IN FLAMES formed the basis for the well-known Göteborg-sound: brutal death metal with additional keys and raging IRON MAIDEN like guitars. Their signature sound, marked by classic albums such as ‘The Jester Race’ (1995) and ‘Whoracle’ (1997), proved to inspire a tremendous amount of modern metal bands.
IN FLAMES’ development never stopped however and over the years they experimented with different styles. This September, their 11th studio album ‘Siren Charms’ will come out, followed by a grand tour. Their last gig in 013 a few years ago was sold out in no time, so get your tickets while you can!
