Sweden Rock Festival
Only two more months to go and then the motto will be again: Fill your head with rock!!!! Sweden Rock Festival will open its gates to 30,000 visitors from all over the world to show up bands from all centuries. Up from the 3-6 June there will be a huge Line- up showed on 3 main stages and 2 smaller stages. Heaven And Hell, In Flames, ZZ Top, Twisted Sister, Journey, Europe, Dream Theater, Foreigner, In Flames and Floggin Molly will headline the festival in Sweden.
Arrival
The Sweden Rock Festival will be opened at the 3rd June 2009 at 3´o Clock pm. The wonderful festival site is located near the sea and you can have a rest at the near beach and choose between different camping locations. The festival offers you a party camping ground, a motor wagon ground, a biker camp, a youth hostel, small typical Sweden houses. Besides camping sites, there are also other options for accommodation, like hotels, youth hostels, cabins etc. Most of these are located in the nearby cities like Karlshamn, Sölvesborg, Olofström & Kristianstad. Distance between 15 km to 40 km. There are shuttle busses from all these cities to the festival area. Camping grounds will be opened at the 31.May 2009.
TicketsThe ticket sale is closing in a few days, so its time to hurry up to not miss one of the most relaxing and beautiful festivals in the season. Tickets are available at Tickster.com. http://www.tickster.com/c/swedenrock/Default.aspx?lang=en in English. The full four days tickets are almost sold-out, but there are still 3-days tickets left. So be fast with your reservation. Costs: daily tickets 990.00 KR and 3-days 1990.00 KR.
On the festival area they only accept Swedish money, but when you arrive to the festival you will be able to exchange money at the Bank service located close to the check-in. They do recommend you to exchange to Swedish currency in your home country as the rates normally is better.
