IAMX
IAMX is the solo project of the English musician and songwriter Chris Corner who lives in Berlin. The debut album of IAMX ‘Kiss and Swallow’ appeared in 2004. As influence, Chris Corner calls bands like Rapture and Insomnia. The central subjects of the songs are mostly intoxication and love. Now on the 15th May 2009 IAMX published the third album ‘Kingdom of Welcome Addiction’ which sounds like heavy Synth Pop with Goth and Punk Rock elements.
In autumn, IAMX comes as live band consisting of Chris Corner, Janine Gezang, Tom Marsh and Dean Rosenzweig once more to Munich after just one year - this time with the songs of the new album in their luggage...
